Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand. Isaiah 41:10

Sometimes necessity is too strong to ignore.  May this Message of Hope respond to a current necessity in the kindest, most truthful, watchful, and life-transforming way.

Please look around- There is no shortage of subtle to blatant God-haters these days.  In fact, they are easy for me to recognize because I was an active one for the better part of 52 years.  During that time, I didn’t know what I didn’t know.  Living a sinful life and aggressively blaspheming was my lifestyle and calling card.  Even though the Bible says that God is love (1 John 4:8), and the reverential fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge (Prov 1:7), I operated outside of that paradigm and under the authority of whom the scripture refers to as the god of this world – Satan.  He is the original God-hater and because of his fiendish spiritual character, he comes to steal, kill, and destroy us.  That includes targeting our original godly relationship, identity, purpose and destiny.

Proudly, and without even knowing it, I was about the devil’s business.  I was voted “best school spirited” as a senior in my high school yearbook; fittingly, a “blue devil” was our mascot.  It doesn’t matter what pleasing color or how cute we try to make the enemy of God, he’s still the father of lies, deception, and the ultimate God-hater.

Even though I was related as a degenerate, by spiritual default and heritage to death’s founder, the loving God of Creation and redemption rescued me from the grip of the evil one to His original place of life abundant. By faith and repentance, on the shoreline of the Pacific Ocean over twenty-five years ago, I had an encounter with the real God (LOVE) and received His grace, mercy, and forgiveness.  As a divine result, I am now a child of God (LOVE) and about my Heavenly Father’s Business.

Trust me and invite Him into your life too by reciting the following prayer in earnest – There is no hate in Him or in that!  Glory to Almighty God!

“Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.”
