Overcoming Sin - God's Gift

And he who believes in the Son has eternal life.  But whoever disobeys the Son will never see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.  John 3:36

Apart from opinion and facts is truth, something to which entitlement never connects. As Christians, truth stands alone in the name and fact of Jesus Christ. Here is what His Word says about “being saved” from our sinful condition and the truth about being reconnected to God:

Fact #2. Man is sinful and separated from God because God is Holy. In our sinful condition, we cannot know and experience God’s love and purpose for our lives (Romans 3:23). The wages of sin is eternal death (Romans 6:23). The solution to our problem is partly in….

Fact #3. Realizing that we can not save ourselves. A Holy problem requires a Holy solution. Salvation is a gift from God (Eph 2:8-9). We must recognize that….

Fact #4. Jesus Christ is the sole provision acceptable for man’s sin. It is through Him that we can know and experience God’s love and purpose for our lives. Even though we were still sinners, He died for us (Romans 5:8). Furthermore….

Fact #6. That He was the way, the truth, and the life and no one came to His Father except through Him (John 14:6, John 3:17). Jesus becomes our Savior and delivers us from eternal damnation when….

Fact #7. We choose Him as our personal Lord (Romans 10:9-10, Romans 6:23, John 1:12). Only then will we receive the most amazing helpful free gift and hopeful fact of all ….

OUR SALVATION!
