I can testify that for many years I sensed God loved me.  Somewhere in my mind, my emotions and my will God was doing His thing on my behalf.  I defined His love by my thoughts, my choices, or my feelings.  Then, several days ago, a revelation hit me right square in my heart.  It caused me to begin writing a daily letter, thanking God for not just believing but knowing that He loves me.

May I share a sample from last week as to how My Daily Letter reads.  Perhaps you might want to commit to offering to the Lord a love letter of your own design.  In any case, here’s a sample of what My Daily Letter looks like.

Dear Lord, Thank You for loving me personally so much that You sacrificed Your Son’s life on my behalf.  Help me to receive the depth of  Your love into my heart and guide my steps in loving others accordingly.  I rejoice in You inspiring me to initiate this page on this date to be called My Daily Letter.  Love back, Steven

Dear Lord, The idea of  You, the Creator of all, not missing the detail of choosing me to be faithful, responsible and productive in You is profoundly humbling and hopefully energizing as well. Thank You for loving me and choosing me to be about Your business.  Your love fills my heart this morning and I am forever grateful.  Help me to please You throughout this day that You have given me.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Dear Lord, The security You promise is unparalleled.  Please help me to receive the holy love You have for me and all the wonderful benefits that come with it.  Today, Your loving presence helped me to repent and get right and be at peace with You.  This is Mother’s Day to celebrate the wonderful Mothers You have brought into my life, but it’s still the day that You have made.  I am glad in it, in Jesus’name, I pray. Amen.

Dear Lord, You are love, and You are Holy.  You love me with Your Holy love, the kind that never waivers or changes.  No matter what, You love me.  In that, my heart’s desire is to please You, not take advantage of Your nature.  May the choices I make today match Your will and may we walk together in Your purpose.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
